Wellington’s Finest Distilleries
20/11/2024

Te Whanganui-ā-Tara/Wellington is New Zealand’s capital of all things quirky, funky and word-of-mouth.
So it’s little wonder that it’s also home to some little-known boutique gin and whisky distilleries.
While not all of them are to be found in the hub of the city, those further afield really are well worth the effort. What is more, unlike Auckland or Christchurch, remember that Wellington is fortunate to have a decent train network if you’re short of a designated driver.
So we’ve curated five distilleries in and around Wellington which will bestow you a new-found appreciation for your favoured spirit.
